ABOUT THE LAB

Engineering Human-Machine Interaction

Our lab develops wearable and flexible electronics for intelligent human-machine interaction. By combining electrical stimulation, wearable sensing, and intelligent control, we aim to restore and augment human movement, enabling new possibilities in rehabilitation, wearable robotics, and human augmentation.

We are recruiting!

The Embodied Interfaces Lab is growing, and we're looking for motivated research students to join us!

We welcome students with backgrounds in electrical and electronic engineering, flexible and wearable electronics, biomedical engineering, robotics, control systems, and artificial intelligence. Experience or interest in electrical stimulation, microfabrication, biosignal processing, embedded systems, or human-machine interaction is also highly valued.

If you are excited about developing next-generation wearable technologies to restore and augment human capabilities, and exploring new ways for humans and intelligent machines to interact with each other, reach out to: chunkiyiu@hkbu.edu.hk
